For “Ritmos Calientes,” we focus on ideas of home and shelter as emotional and cultural spaces. Our record collection started from our grandparents, parents, and aunts. Each record carries memory and history, making the archive a reflection of our ancestors. Nandi ❤️ Esteban performed as DJs under their “Ritmos Calientes” collaboration. The installation includes four-channel audio-reactive animations that respond to musical frequencies. Light will activate the architecture, allowing the temple to respond to sound. The space invites public participation and creates an immersive experience. Two costumed “love entities” enhance the atmosphere and add a performative element.
